3:15 PM - 4:15 PM    Mr. Dykas Programs - Fit 'n Fun - Mondays
Please send a note in with your child stating they are attending this class every week.Jump Rope Osgood Kids in Grades 1 & 2 will learn a variety of single rope skills, 2 person one rope, and long rope skills. Jump roping is a wonderful lifelong fitness activity! Jump roping is a terrific way to improve strength, endurance, build stamina, and promotes self-confidence.  Kids can learn new moves that will truly impress your family and friends! Sneakers and comfortable clothing are a must!   They will earn a speed rope for attending.Fit n' FunKids in Kindergarten will work on various exercise activities to help promote healthy and strong bodies in a non-competitive environment.  Children will be given the opportunity to explore a variety of fun and cooperative workouts that may include individual skills practice with small equipment, small and large group games, parachute games, ball skills, jump roping, fitness activities, and more with Mr. Dykas.

Please send a note in with your child stating they are attending this class every week.Running Club Jr. - Wednesdays at Joseph Osgood School GymHave a little speedster in your house who never seems to tire out? Warm up, proper stretching technique and running drills taught to encourage appropriate levels of fitness for this younger group. Games with constant motion used to keep them moving and active for the whole class.  Positive reinforcement and peer encouragement enforced so everyone has a good experience and builds confidence at their own pace.  Please send the kids with water bottles and proper running shoes. Runs to Deer Hill are the farthest this group will go; we will not leave the Osgood/Deer Hill school property.  This class is taught by Kelly Grech and Kim Spicer, both avid distance runners from Cohasset.   Running Club - Mondays or Thursdays at Deer Hill School GymEnjoy running with your friends? Come join us for running club once or twice a week after school at Deer Hill. Learn the rules of road running while reaching your goal of running a certain distance. Proper stretching technique and running form taught and discussed. Drills to build strength and speed to increase cardiac endurance for all sports. Games that involved constant motion and acceleration played at the end of class.  Coached by Kelly Grech and Kim Spicer, both avid distance runners who enjoy teaching kids the safest, healthiest way to make running part of their exercise regimen. Peer support expected so everyone builds confidence at their own pace. Send the athletes with water bottles and running shoes.
