This fun and unique class will help strengthen your child's social skills, and heighten their awareness of manners and self-presentation. Furthermore, we will work with them to improve their ability to manage their own behavior at home, at school, on play dates, and in restaurants. Students will learn by engaging in role-playing activities, class participation, and improvisation.

The curriculum covers a wide array of etiquette topics including:
Basic manners review and introduction
Family Etiquette
Good Guest Etiquette: social cues, proper meeting and greeting, presents
Hospitable Host Etiquette: Invitations and Thank You notes
Table manners, proper use of utensils and table setting
Friendships, frenemies and bullies

HALF DAY PROGRAMS
Level I: Etiquette Boot Camp for Children {ages 7-12}

Basic Manners, Conversation Skills, and Table Manners
This 4-hour program is interactive, thought-provoking and, yes - fun. Do you wish your child would partake in a conversation at the dinner table instead of "bonding" with their iPad? The Etiquette Boot Camp reinforces table manners parents are teaching children at home. Prepare your child for the next family dinner, social gathering, or formal event. Participants will learn how to start and maintain conversations with adults and peers, how to introduce themselves, when to interrupt, and all the basic manners every child needs to know. Parents are invited to attend the last 30 minutes of the class when we review the major concepts covered. This will allow parents to continue to help support their child at home and open discussions on relevant topics.

Level II: Etiquette Boot Camp for Children {ages 7-12}
Social Graces for Public Spaces, Family and Friendship Etiquette, Positive Communication and Conflict Resolution
This class is a continuation of the Etiquette Boot Camp Level I but can also be taken independently. Are you looking to enhance your child’s social skills? Is your child so shy that people think he or she is rude?  Would you like for your children to be more respectful and considerate of each other, and actually get along? Is your child not sure how to create meaningful or new friendships? Is your child dealing with negative peer pressure? Parenting a child in today's society is challenging, and our programs support the social skills you are teaching your child at home. Critical social life skills necessary for our kids' personal and professional success are not always modeled or reinforced in school or at home in a way we imagined. That is why we created programs for youth that are thought-provoking, practical, and fun.  Parents are invited to attend the last 30 minutes of the class when we review major concepts covered. This will allow parents to continue to help support their child at home and open discussions on relevant topics.
