The Story: If you thought you knew the story of 'The Princess and The Pea,' you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that it may not have been the pea at all
that caused the princess a sleepless night? This hilarious and raucous spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are, you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. In this adaptation for pre-high school
students, the content has been edited to suit younger actors, but all the elements that make this show a classic are still in place.
Rehearsals: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00-6:00pm, with additional rehearsals scheduled every day the week of July 16th.
Specifics: The 9-week program cost is $425 ($400 each for 2 or more from the same family) which includes your participation, workshop classes, show costuming, script, audio rehearsal CD, t-shirt, cast party and a DVD of the performance. Payment is due at registration when you will receive your script, CD and a complete rehearsal schedule.

The year is 1985. The place is New Jersey.
A wannabe rock star (aka professional wedding singer)
is left at the altar and finally changes his tune.
Performances: July 27, 28, 29 at 7:30pm
July 30 at 2:00pm
Auditions: May 30 and 31 at 7:00pm

The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was
good, collars were up and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer is set in1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. For audition information and other questions: info@cohassetdramaticclub.org
