Rock Ensemble
Enroll in this course and learn how to play like the bands you love on whatever instrument you play, all are welcome in this course (bassoonists, I'm looking at you). We will decide the tunes we play as a group, change those songs in an original way to fit our group, and learn how to rock together as a band with all the instruments we have present. Intermediate musical skills are recommended, students will need to be able to read sheet music.
Electronic Music Production
Ever wonder how DJs are able to make all those hit songs, or how music for television shows and movies are made? In this class, you'll learn how as we work together in a digital audio workstation and write, record, and produce our own original music. You'll learn how to customize synthesizers, produce your own drum beats, and make music that sounds like professionals made it. Basic knowledge of music theory/instrument is recommended.
Open Jam
No matter what instrument someone plays, no matter what skill level someone has, we can all come together and make some beautiful noise. We can play whatever genre people like (so long as it is appropriate), we can play whatever songs people want to play, we can even play original music people would like to bring in, perhaps even write our own tunes!
